Senior UX/UI Designer

We're looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer who can bridge the gap between product and engineering. You’ll work closely with our Chief Product Officer and development team to prototype, refine, and ship designs that are both beautiful and buildable. You’ll help maintain and evolve our design system, always with a focus on clarity, simplicity, and developer empathy.

What You’ll Do

Design and Prototype Features

• Turn product ideas into clean, user-friendly designs

• Create flows, mockups, and prototypes in Figma

• Use UX methodologies to analyze and solve problems

• Iterate quickly based on customer feedback and usage

Maintain and Improve the Design System

• Use and evolve our component library

• Consolidate patterns and simplify wherever possible

• Document UX principles and product patterns for our engineering team

• Help keep our UI scalable and maintainable over time

Deliver Designs Alongside Developers

• Work directly with engineers to implement designs

• Quickly help unblock engineers as they run into implementation issues

• Initiate or join live feedback sessions, or review pull requests to fine-tune UI

Collaborate with other teams

• Work with data analysts to define and analyze success metrics

• Collaborate with the marketing team to guide external design agencies

• Work with customer-facing roles to analyze user feedback

• Gather context from sales and marketing to see if our work has an impact

Design Leadership

• Establish and advocate adoption of best practices, leading by example

• Develop and implement design strategies that align with business goals and elevate our brand identity  

• Mentor/coach other designers and members of the design team, providing guidance on design principles, best practices, and professional growth

• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in design technology, incorporating relevant innovations into our design processes
  

What We’re Looking For

You’re a pragmatic designer who enjoys working with developers and designing for them. You focus on simplicity, usability, and systems thinking, with a sharp eye for detail. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, has a passion for mentoring others, and can drive design excellence from concept to completion.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience designing digital products, ideally in SaaS or dev tools

• Solid understanding of UX, interaction design, and usability principles

• Strong portfolio of successful design projects 

• Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams

• Corporate working experience in a startup or small high growth company

• Fluency with modern design tools like Figma and experience working within design systems

• Experience as a Design Lead or team lead, mentoring other designers 

• Comfortable talking to users and uncovering real needs

• Ability to make complicated material seem easy for the user

• A self-starting attitude who can navigate the organization on their own

• Pixel-perfect designs with a great eye for detail

• A great communicator who makes complicated things simple

• You have knowledge of development processes, which helps you collaborate

• Preference for candidates based in Central European time (CET ±2 hours)

• Front-end skills

• Graphic/brand design
