Product Manager

At AppSignal, we build tools that help developers ship better code. Behind our clean UI and developer-focused features is a steady flow of ideas, feedback, and product decisions that must be shaped into clear, executable plans.

We’re looking for a Product Manager to turn strategic goals into actionable work. You’ll work directly with the CPO and will collaborate with designers and the development team to break down the roadmap into projects and issues, gather and organize customer feedback, and keep product development focused and moving forward.

What you'll do

• Your goal as Product Manager is to help turn strategic product direction into day-to-day progress. You’ll help the team stay focused by structuring projects, organizing feedback, and ensuring the development team has a prioritized backlog of clear projects and issues.

  1. Build a strategy and make it actionable

  • Work alongside the CPO and CEO to shape product strategy and roadmap

  • Break strategy into well-scoped projects and issues

  • Help break projects into shippable parts/issues

  • Keep product documentation and planning tools organized and up to date

  2. Customer and user research

  • Organize and run regular customer calls, interviews, and user testing

  • Collect and structure feedback from support, sales, and internal teams

  • Turn recurring feedback and patterns into actionable product input

  3. Support day-to-day product development

  • Work with the CTO and development team to answer product questions and remove blockers

  • Ensure smooth communication between leadership, product, and development

  • Collaborate with our designer to ensure product work aligns with good UX and design standards

What we're looking for

We’re looking for someone who can quickly understand the full context and cut through complexity. You can align customer needs, company goals, and technical feasibility into focused, buildable solutions. Trade-offs are at the core of product management, and your default should be finding the simplest version of what’s truly valuable. 

About You:

• You excel as a product-oriented individual, skilled in coordinating and uniting development teams

• You enthusiastically engage with designers and engineers who possess extensive subject matter knowledge

• You thrive in a fast paced and dynamic setting and are able to focus on multiple initiatives

• You relish complex projects that integrate hardware and software, maintaining composure in demanding situations

Qualifications:

• 2–5 years of product management experience, ideally in SaaS

• Experience with developer tools or technical products

• Strong written communication and documentation skills

• Comfortable leading customer research and product discovery

• A structured, pragmatic thinker who enjoys helping others move forward

• A good eye for UX and design quality, even if you’re not a designer yourself

• Enthusiasm for AI tools that improve productivity and clarity

• Location preference in the Central European time zone (CET ±2 hours) 

Bonus points if you have a background in software development or have worked on observability, infrastructure, or monitoring tools.
