About The Role
We're seeking a GTM Engineer/Marketing Operations Manager to work at the intersection of marketing, revenue, operations, and technology. You'll be the architect of our go-to-market technology stack, designing automations, integrations, and AI-driven workflows that directly influence GTM efficiency and goals while scaling our developer-focused growth engine.
This isn't your typical marketing ops role. You'll be part campaign manager, part automation engineer, part sales strategist, and part marketing technologist. One day you might be building AI-powered workflows, the next you'll be implementing automated lead systems using intent signals, and then you'll dive deep into product analytics to optimize our conversion funnels and reduce customer acquisition costs.
As a highly visible member of our GTM team reporting directly to the CMO. You'll collaborate closely with Sales, Product CS, and Engineering teams, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your work directly impacts pipeline generation, deal velocity, and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
GTM Technology Stack & Automation
Design and maintain a robust GTM tech stack to streamline outbound prospecting, minimize manual efforts, and scale our developer outreach
Build and maintain AI-powered workflows that integrate marketing, sales, and RevOps systems, automating processes such as lead capture, outreach, scoring, and routing across CRM, marketing automation platforms, and analytics tools
Identify repetitive tasks and implement automated workflows using platforms like Zapier, n8n, Clay, and custom scripts to boost efficiency and scalability
AI-Driven Personalization & Efficiency
Implement AI tools to generate personalized campaign content, automate outbound messaging to developers, and summarize performance data
Leverage AI-driven prospecting tools and dynamic segmentation to identify high-intent developer prospects and optimize targeting
Build intelligent lead scoring models that analyze engagement patterns, product usage signals, and behavioral data to prioritize sales efforts
Performance Optimization & Revenue Impact

Continuously measure and optimize GTM systems to align with revenue goals, driving improvements in:
Pipeline generation: Implement scalable systems to generate qualified developer leads through automation and AI-driven insights
Conversion rates: Enhance lead-to-opportunity and opportunity-to-deal conversion using data enrichment and AI optimization
Deal velocity: Implement systems to shorten sales cycles from first touchpoint to deal closure
Insights & Experimentation
Run structured GTM experiments to test new acquisition, activation, and growth strategies using real-time data and intent signals
Lead quarterly innovation initiatives, testing AI-driven prospecting, workflow automation, and new developer engagement channels
ICP Developer Targeting
Analyze AppSignal's product offerings and customer data to create detailed Ideal Customer Profiles for different developer segments
Build automated systems that identify companies using relevant tech stacks, experiencing performance issues, or showing growth signals
Create dynamic prospect enrichment workflows that gather company information, funding status, technology stack details, and team size
Develop account-based marketing automation for high-value developer teams
Qualifications:
Technical Foundation: 3+ years in revenue operations, marketing operations, growth engineering, or similar technical GTM roles, ideally in B2B SaaS or developer tools

GTM Technology Competence: Deep hands-on experience with modern GTM tech stacks including:
CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot)
Sales engagement tools (Outreach, SalesLoft)
AI-driven prospecting tools (Clay, ChatGPT)
Automation platforms (Zapier, n8n, Workato)
Advanced data enrichment and lead management solutions
Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, experimental design, and multi-touch attribution
Background in product-led growth strategies and self-service conversion optimization
Hands-on familiarity with modern GTM AI tools (e.g., Clay, UnifyGTM, CommonRoom, Keyplay, Rb2b, 6sense)
[Bonus] Familiarity with developer workflows, observability/APM concepts, and DevOps terminology
[Bonus] Web developer experience, vibe coding, software development etc.
